The last few days were warm in LA, a nice change from the freezing cold I've been living in. On this particular day I was heading out to a mandatory school meeting. I was going to just leave without any photos, but I noticed how warm it was. Luckily I had gotten ready with time to spare and decided it would be nice to let Molly play a bit on the patio while I caught up on some reading. Two weeks into the spring semester and I'm already feeling overwhelmed. Any time to catch up on homework or take photos for the blog seem like a luxury. Between class, meetings, trainings, and supervisions I have very little time to actually get things done. I'm hoping I'll get into the swing of things soon.
Molly makes everything better with her cuteness. After a long day I love coming home to her excitement. If you're wondering, "hmmm... what does she do again", that's alright. I'm a clinical psychology masters student. This semester I'm in training to start fieldwork, where I will be working with adults, children, couples, and families as a Marriage and Family Therapist trainee.
I'm excited about Valentine's Day. Robin and I have both been so busy lately. It will be nice to have an excuse to spend quality time together. I hate celebrating the night of the holiday. I find it awkward. Restaurants are usually serving pre-fixed menus (yuk) and most of the men there look miserable while the women unsatisfied. Can't stand it! So we are planning something fun for this Saturday. I'm not sure about the details, but I hope it'll include steak (yum!). How about you, any plans?
I read and appreciate all comments!
